Scholarships for Transfers with GED? Does anyone know of any NON SCHOOL-SPECIFIC scholarships for students with a GED or community college transfers or interrupted study scholarships? (For the record, I am 19, female, white and I have no disabilities, nor do I qualify for most fed. financial aide) I have, the point is that I don't have any other unusual quality. By "unusual" I mean potentially-scholarship-qualifying. I do understand that a lot of people have GEDs and go to community colleges.
tips on writing a scholarship essay? I need to write a personal essay for a scholarship application and I would really appreciate some advice on things to include and general tips on format and approach. Thanks to anyone that will answer!! Specifics: It's for continuing college students, I'm female with no kind of minority status or disabilities, my family is educated but low income. I'm 27 and need to work a full time job so I likely count as a non-traditional student these days. I'm also an English major with the intention of writing professionally and going on to graduate school.

Is God gonna reward these two people equally? Is God gonna reward these two people equally? Kelly: She is a young wealthy woman who came from a rich family and she is a wealthy businesswoman working for a public relations company and she gets well rewarded for her hard work, she owns an Infiniti FX (car based SUV), lives in a condo overlooking a huge lake, owns lots of nice clothes, owns alot of nice stereo equipment, owns alot of nice furniture, gets to go on alot of nice vacations, gets to go on alot of rock concerts, back when Kelly was younger she always had a great life cause she had hundreds of friends and they all wanted to be like her, her teachers thought very highly of her and they favored her over most of the students, her parents helped pay part of her college along with her college scholarships and when she turned 16 her parents bought her a brand new Mustang GT convertible. Charlie: He is a poor young man w/a learning disability who working in retail and he is from a poor family and he still lives at home with his parents, his only means of transportation is taking the city bus or sometimes bicycle, when he was younger alot of people who he thought were his friends snubbed him off and made him feel inferior to them, his teachers treated him like a worthless piece of garbage and while at a parent/teachers conference they told him that he is uncapable of having a paying job and that he is gonna be living in a group home when he gets older, alot of his fellow classmates had picked on him and there was alot of drama going on with his classmates in school, while he has felt hurt, upset and angered over the situations he was going through fortunately the drama, getting teased, picked on, snubbed off and him getting treated like garbage didn't take the good out of him and that he still remained nice, kind and respectful towards the others and he was able to be strong enough to steer clear of drugs, alcohol and suicide and he now takes the bad situations he's gone through as a learning experience and he is proud of himself for the things he has accomplished out of life, he has been working at his job for a very long time. Both Kelly and Charlie are Christians and they have accepted Christ as their saviour.

Help w/ Writing an Essay for a scholarship?? I need ideas and help of what to say on this: What advice would you give to your college’s faculty and administration to help your school better assist students with disabilities?
Help! I need scholarship or grant money soon!? I was recently granted the privilege to attend the Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Fl. the school has issued a scholarship of $4000. However, even with subsidized loans, it isn't enough to cover the cot of attending this amazingly prestigious school. I've been looking at Fastweb and Upromise online, but haven't yet found a scholarship that I would qualify for. I am an older student with disabilities, and need to cover not only the cost of education, but also the expense of moving to Sarasota. I need a minimum of $6000 to make this work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

can someone edit my scholarship essay !!!! please its due by tonight and im not sure its good.? Throughout my life, I have always had many goals I wanted to achieve someday. These goals have inspired me to do my best in everything I do. My ultimate goal is to someday become a school principal. I love every aspect of teaching and educating the future. I knew that before I could reach that long term goal, there would be smaller ones I would have to achieve. I know some of these smaller goals may not be easy, but I am determined to work my hardest to make my dream come true. As the years have gone by, I have tried to educate myself in areas other than school. I always try to meet new people, and learn new things that could make a difference in my life. Now that graduation is months away, my next goal is to prepare myself for college in every way. I want to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Education. During my four year’s in high school I have helped out at Crossroads Station jumping from to car to car wherever I was needed the most. After acquiring experience and turning eighteen, I was able to become a teacher and obtain my own room full of bright students. I always look forward to third service when I get room four, I’m instantly greeted by huge hugs and heart warming smiles. I thank God for the opportunity I was given to not only teach these three year old children but to impact their lives in a positive way. At the beginning of freshman year I signed up for classes called “Partners in Art” and “Partners in P.E” where I worked with children that have different mental disabilities. These experiences have helped me become a leader and be more patient and understanding of others. Coming from a large family, I understand that my parents might not be able to give me a full ride through college, since they have three other children to raise. I know that it will take many grants, loans, and scholarships to achieve my goals. But I want to make the most out of my life, and the best way is to get a higher education. I am willing to work hard to achieve my short and long terms ,so that some day I may contribute to this society and make a difference in someone’s life.
can somebody correct my grammar in my short letter? Dear -------------- I was awarded the -------------. I want to thank you for your generosity, and kindness. This scholarship will make it easier for me to attend college. My parents were worried about the parent PLUS loan that I was offered from my college. With the help of this scholarship, I will be able to reduce the amount of money I have to take for the loan. I am going to study Chemistry at University of --------------. Chemistry will prepare me to go to medical school, where I am going to study Pharmacy in order to be a Pharmacist. I also plan to be involved in a community service. I am going to volunteer to help kids with disabilities and encourage their potentials. I am looking forward to studying Chemistry at -------------- and meeting new students from all over the countries. This year, I have accomplished a lot of things. I received an honorable mention form the Maryland governor as a Maryland Distinguished Scholar and I received the Merit Scholastic Award for earning a cumulative average within the top five percent of my graduating class. I am also very proud of my leadership role as a concertmistress in my school orchestra. My responsibility as a leader was to make sure if anyone has difficulty playing music and help them improve their playing skills. I was satisfied and gratified myself to see them getting better from my help. Again thank you for your wonderful generosity and I am very excited to continue my education at ----------- with the help of this scholarship. Sincerely,
What are the co-signer credit requirements for student loans? My son needs about $ 10,000 - $ 12,500 for college next year after scholarships, Federal student loans, grants, etc. He has no established credit. Will he be able to do this on his own? I filed bankruptcy in September 2005 and was discharged in January 2006. Am I eligible to co-sign? My income consists solely of disability income and I don't think that I will be returning to work anytime in the forseeable future. Thanks.
what age should a parent support a child untill? what age should a parent provide survival for a child untill, such as food, necessary clothes, toiletries, medical insurance, education money, basic life needs? im not talking about a video game set or a designer handbag that costs 400 dollars or a vacation or diamond earings. i mean necessary life survival items like medicine, food, health insurance, toiletries, basic things,education... things like this simple survival things i know some parents say when the child turns 18, but i think thats tough. when your 18 its tough, kids are scared and just entering the adult world at that age and its very hard to survive and find a good job with just a highscool diploma.what if the kid wants to go to college full time, its very hard to work and go to school even tho in some cases its been done. what if the child has a special disorder where working and attending school is too much, like a health problem or anxiety disorder or some other problem? also does the money and education background of a family matter? lets say a child comes from a rich upperclass family, they grew up in a mansion with a pool and a buttler, the parents are rich, with too much money not needed for them, the mothers a doctor, the fathers a big shot lawyer...so its not an extra burden to pay for living expenses of the 18 yr old child..lets say everyone in their family is college educated at ivy league schools with no scholarships.. should a child from a wealthy family full of ivy league graduates have to pay for their own expenses at 18 and work and attend classes at the same time so they can pay for food, a roof, and education at a small city college? even tho its not a burden and the parents can afford to pay for their kid to go to a top college? do the same standards apply to a child from a middle or lower class home where the mother is a hairdresser and the father works at a sneaker store??? and they might not necessarily be able to afford to send their kid to an ivy league school and expenses are difficult also what if someones young adult child becomes disabled, what are your thoughts about a parent supporting their 22 yr old child who gets sick with cancer and cannot work anymore and cannot afford rent while being in and out of the hospital and deathly sick from the treatment.. should that child be allowed to live at home, rent free with their parents while they try to get well from cancer? or should the parent charge the child with cancer rent because they are 22? should the parent not help the child because they are over 18? even if they are sick and too sick to work, and might die? what are the standards on being supported with any financial help after 18? what are your opinions, also talk about money situations, disabilities, sickness a child might get, education? also lets say your hardworking straight a student daughter is crossing the street a few months before college graduation and she is hit by a car and seriousely injured and leaves the hospital but in bad shape with slow healing injuries and cannot walk well, would you tell the daughter they are on their own or would you invite them to live in your home while they try to recover? would you pay for food for them and some cheap necessities like shoes, underwear, food, pain medication, while they are recovering? also what are the responsibilities of parents towards their young adult children... some culutures say it is responsibility to marry off a child, when they are married off they are out of their responsibility what if your 25 year old daughter becomes severely anorexic and might die? is it the parents job to help? also should a parent pay for food, medicine, education, basic life survival needs while the child is in school full time in a college? untill they get a degree where they can start a career and make enough money to survive? i know theres different opinions and each case is different.. what are your opinions

hows my grant essay? Writing an essay that could possibly decide the path for my life creates enormous pressure. I have wanted to go to the Art Institute since before I had even started seriously considering a career path. As a creative person, my desire is to go into cake decorating. Some of my best and earliest childhood memories are of cooking pancakes on my grandmas wood cooking stove at 3 years old. I have always loved to cook and loved art. My mom always encouraged me in every art form that I wanted to try. I was so excited when I found out I could combine the two things I love to do. I have experienced many difficulties as a student since I was very young. I have learning disabilities that challenged me in the public education system. The one good thing that came from that is that I am used to having to work hard at the things that I want to learn. I was diagnosed with test anxiety, ADD and dyslexia but not badly enough to receive special education services. My tutor, my mom and my teachers put a 504 plan in place to help ease the anxiety that school was creating in me. When I would study really hard I would get average grades in core classes but when it came to any type of art class an A+ would come easily. I learned to be organized and pay attention to details to make up for the things that challenge me. I have applied my hard working habits to life and plan to accomplish all my goals. My mom supported my decision to finish high school at home, and I'm continuing to do so, I expect to graduate at the end of this school term. Because I am a visual hands on learner I wasn’t sure if I could succeed in a college setting, but the program that the Art Institute offers accommodates my learning disabilities, and I am excited to be able to learn something that I love and enjoy. Without receiving grants or scholarships I will not be able to attend the Art Institute. My parents and relatives are not able to help me financially but are very supportive emotionally. I feel that the Art Institute is my best shot at fulfilling my career goals. I hope that you still consider me even though I am not applying for loans. I firmly believe that it is important to start my adult life debt free. This way I can pursue my career without a load of debt hanging over me. Once I get enough grants to pay for my education at the Art Institute and finish the program I will be taking I would like to become an apprentice. As soon as I achieve that goal I would like to be the head designer and decorator in my own cake shop. Being able to do the something I love all the time would be the best job I could imagine. For the first time I am facing my future with excitement instead of worry.

Grant a complete tax exemption for prepaid or college tuition savings plans. 20. Reduced H1B visas from a high of 195,000 per year to 66,000 per year. Character & Conduct as President 1. Changed the tone in the White House, restoring HONOR and DIGNITY to the presidency. 2. Has reintroduced the mention of God and faith into public discourse. 3. Handled himself with enormous courage, dignity, grace, determination, and leadership in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 hijackings and anthrax attacks. He almost single-handedly held this country together during those searing days: Just three days after the attacks, in his address at the National Cathedral, the President reassured the nation when he said: "War has been waged against us by stealth and deceit and murder. This nation is peaceful, but fierce when stirred to anger. This conflict was begun on the timing and terms of others. It will end in a way, and at an hour, of our choosing." On Friday, September 14, 2001, President Bush visited Ground Zero. Standing on a crushed and burned fire engine atop the smoldering pile at Ground Zero, he put his arm around a retired firefighter who had volunteered to help, and began speaking to the crowd. Rescue workers shouted that they could not hear him. Someone handed him a small American flag and bullhorn. The President spontaneously shouted: "I can hear you. The rest of the world hears you. And the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon." The crowd roared with cheers and chants of "USA! USA! USA!" Then he raised that American flag and rallied a nation. Education & Employment Training 1. Signed the No Child Left Behind Act, delivering the most dramatic education reforms in a generation (challenging the soft bigotry of low expectations). The very liberal California Teachers union is currently running radio ads against the accountability provisions of this Act. 2. Defense & Foreign Policy 1. Successfully executed two wars in the aftermath of 9/11/01: Afghanistan and Iraq. 50 million people who had lived under tyrannical regimes now live in freedom. 2. Saddam Hussein is now in prison. His two murderous sons are dead. All but a handful of the regime's senior members were killed or captured. 3. Leader by leader and member by member, al Maida is being hunted down in dozens of countries around the world. Of the senior al Qaeda leaders, operational managers, and key facilitators the U.S. Government has been tracking, nearly two-thirds have been taken into custody or killed. The detentions or deaths of senior al Qaeda leaders, including Khalid Shaykh Muhammad, the mastermind of 9/11, and Muhammad Atef, Osama bin Laden's second-in-command until his death in late 2001, have been important in the War on Terror. 4. The military has already upgraded about 10 percent of its inventory and expects to modernize 76,000 additional homes this year. 20. Is working to tighten restrictions on military-technology exports. 21. Brought back our EP-3 intel plane and crew from China without any bribes or bloodshed. Globalization & Internationalism 1. Challenged the United Nations to live up to their responsibilities and not become another League of Nations (in other words, showed the UN to be completely irrelevant). 2. Killed U.S. involvement in the International Criminal Court. 3. Told the United Nations we weren't interested in their plans for gun control (i.e., the International Ban on Small Arms Trafficking Treaty).* 4. The only President since the founding of the UN to essentially tell that organization it is irrelevant. He said: "The conduct of the Iraqi regime is a threat to the authority of the United Nations, and a threat to peace. Iraq has answered a decade of UN demands with a decade of defiance. All the world now faces a test, and the United Nations a difficult and defining moment. Are Security Council resolutions to be honored and enforced, or cast aside without consequence? Will the United Nations serve the purpose of its founding, or will it be irrelevant?" We all know the outcome and the answer. 5. Told the Congress and the world, "America will never seek a permission slip to defend the security of our country." Government Reform 1. Improved government efficiency by putting hundreds of thousands of jobs put up for bid. This weakens public-sector unions and cuts undeserved pay raises. 2. Initiated review of all federal agencies with the goal of eliminating federal jobs (completed September 2003) in an effort to reduce the size of the federal government while increasing private sector jobs. 3. Led the most extensive reorganization the Federal bureaucracy in over 50 years: After 9/11, condensed 20+ overlapping agencies and their intelligence sectors into one agency, the Department of Homeland Security.* 4. Ordered each agency to draft a five-year plan to restructure itself, with fewer managers. 5. Converted federal service contracts to performance-based contracts wherever possible so that the contractor has measurable performance goals. Health 1. Strengthen the National Health Service Corps to put more physicians in the neediest areas, and make its scholarship funds tax-free. 2. Double the research budget of the National Institutes of Health. 3. Signed Medicare Reform, which includes: A 10-year privatization option. Prescription drug benefits: Prior to this reform, Medicare paid for extended hospital stays for ulcer surgery, for example, at a cost of about $28,000 per patient. Yet Medicare would not pay for the drugs that eliminate the cause of most ulcers, drugs that cost about $500 a year. Now, drug coverage under Medicare will allow seniors to replace more expensive surgeries and hospitalizations with less expensive prescription medicine. More health care choices: As President Bush stated, "…when seniors have the ability to make choices, health care plans within Medicare will have to compete for their business by offering higher quality service [at lower cost]. For the seniors of America, more choices and more control will mean better health care. These are the kinds of health care options we give to the members of Congress and federal employees. What's good for members of Congress is also good for seniors. New Health Savings Accounts: Effective January 1, 2004, Americans can set aside up to $4,500 every year, tax free, to save for medical expenses. Depending on your tax bracket, that means you'll save between 10 to 35 percent on any costs covered by money in your account. Every year, the money not spent would stay in the account and gain interest tax-free, just like an IRA. These accounts will be good for small business owners, and employees. More businesses can focus on covering workers for major medical problems, such as hospitalization for an injury or illness. At the same time, employees and their families will use these accounts to cover doctors visits, or lab tests, or other smaller costs. Some employers will contribute to employee health accounts. This will help more American families get the health care they need at the price they can afford. Homeland Security, Border Enforcement & Immigration 1. *See Government Reform above. Under President Bush's leadership, America has made an unprecedented commitment to homeland security. 2. Has CONSTRUCTION in process on the first 10 ABM silos in Alaska so that America will have a defense against North Korean nukes. Has ordered national and theater ballistic missile defenses to be deployed by 2004. 3. Announced a 9.7% increase in government-wide homeland security funding in his FY 2005 budget, nearly tripling the FY 2001 levels (excluding the Department of Defense and Project BioShield). 4. Before DHS was created, there were inspectors from three different agencies of the Federal Government and Border Patrol officers protecting our borders. Through DHS, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) now consolidates all border activities into a single agency to create "one face at the border." This not only better secures the borders of the United States, but it also eliminates many of the inefficiencies that occurred under the old system. With over 18,000 CBP inspectors and 11,000 Border Patrol agents, CBP has 29,000 uniformed officers on our borders. 5. The Border Patrol is continuing installation of monitoring devices along the borders to detect illegal activity. 6. Launched Operation Tarmac to investigate businesses and workers in the secure areas of domestic airports and ensure immigration law compliance. Since 9/11, DHS has audited 3,640 businesses, examined 259,037 employee records, arrested 1,030 unauthorized workers, and participated in the criminal indictment of 774 individuals. 7. Since September 11, 2001, the Coast Guard has conducted more than 124,000 port security patrols, 13,000 air patrols, boarded more than 92,000 vessels, interdicted over 14,000 individuals attempting to enter the United States illegally, and created and maintained more than 90 Maritime Security Zones. 8. Announced the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), an internet-based system that is improving America's ability to track and monitor foreign students and exchange visitors. Over 870,000 students are registered in SEVIS. Of 285 completed field investigations, 71 aliens were arrested. 9. This week, the US-VISIT program began to digitally collect biometric identifiers to record the entry and exit of aliens who travel into the U.S on a visa. Together with the standard information, this new program will confirm compliance with visa and immigration policies. 10. Eliminated INS bureaucratic redundancies and lack of accountability. 11. Split the Immigration and Naturalization Service into two agencies: one to protect the border and interior, the other to deal with naturalization. 12. Signed the workplace verification bill to prevent hiring of illegal aliens. 13. Established a six-month deadline for processing immigration applications. 14. Information regarding nearly 100% of all containerized cargo is carefully screened by DHS before it arrives in the United States. Higher risk shipments are physically inspected for terrorist weapons and contraband prior to being released from the port of entry. Advanced technologies are being deployed to identify warning signs of chemical, biological, or radiological attacks. Since September 11, 2001, hundreds of thousands of first responders across America have been trained to recognize and respond to the effects of a WMD attack. Judiciary & Tort Reform 1. Is urging federal liability reform to eliminate frivolous lawsuits. 2. Killed the liberal ABA's unconstitutional role in vetting federal judges. The Senate is supposed to advise and consent, not the ABA. 3. Is nominating strong, conservative judges to the judiciary. 4. Supports class action reform bill which limits lawyer fees so that more settlement money goes to victims. Politics 1. His leadership resulted in Republican gains in the House and Senate, solidifying Republican control of both houses of Congress and the presidency. 2. Signed an EO enforcing the Supreme Court's Beck decision regarding union dues being used for political campaigns against individual's wishes. Second Amendment 1. Ordered Attorney General Ashcroft to formally notify the Supreme Court that the OFFICIAL U.S. government position on the 2nd Amendment is that it supports INDIVIDUAL rights to own firearms, and is NOT a Leftist-imagined "collective" right. 2. Signed TWO bills into law that arm our pilots with handguns in the cockpit. 3. Currently pushing for full immunity from lawsuits for our national gun manufacturers. 4. *See Globalization & Internationalism. Traditional Values, Compassion & Volunteerism 1. Endorses and promotes "The Responsibility Era." President Bush often speaks of the necessity of personal responsibility and civic volunteerism. He said, "In a compassionate society, people respect one another and take responsibility for the decisions they make in life. My hope is to change the culture from one that has said, if it feels good, do it; if you've got a problem, blame somebody else — to one in which every single American understands that he or she is responsible for the decisions that you make; you're responsible for loving your children with all your heart and all your soul; you're responsible for being involved with the quality of the education of your children; you're responsible for making sure the community in which you live is safe; you're responsible for loving your neighbor, just like you would like to be loved yourself." 2. Started the USA Freedom Corps, the most comprehensive clearinghouse of volunteer opportunities ever offered. For the first time in history, Americans can enter geographic information about where they want to get involved, such as state or zip code, as well as areas of interest ranging from education to the environment, and they can access volunteer opportunities offered by more than 50,000 organizations across the country and around the world. 3. Established the The White House Office and the Centers for the Faith-Based and Community Initiative — located in seven Federal agencies. The faith-based initiative supports the essential work of these important organizations. The goal is to make sure that grassroots leaders can compete on an equal footing for federal dollars, receive greater private support, and face fewer bureaucratic barriers. Work focuses on at-risk youth, ex-offenders, the homeless and hungry, substance abusers, those with HIV/AIDS, and welfare-to-work families. 4. The White House released a guidebook fully describing the Administration's belief that faith-based groups have a Constitutionally-protected right to maintain their religious identity through hiring — even when Federal funds are involved. 5. Issued an EO implementing the Supreme Court's Olmstead ruling, which requires moving disabled people from institutions to community-based facilities when possible. 6. Increased funding for low-interest loan programs to help people with disabilities purchase devices to assist them. 7. Revised the Department of Housing and Urban Development's Section 8 rent subsidies to disabled people, permitting them to use up to a year's worth of vouchers to finance down payments on homes. HUD has started pilot programs in 11 states. 8. Committed US funds to purchase medicine for millions of men, women and children now suffering with AIDS in Africa. 9. Heeding the words of our own Declaration of Independence, the president laid out the non-negotiable demands of human dignity for all people everywhere. On January 29, 2002, he said, "No nation owns these aspirations, and no nation is exempt from them. We have no intention of imposing our culture. But America will always stand firm for the non-negotiable demands of human dignity." As stated by the President, they are a virtual manifesto of conservative principles: Equal Justice Freedom of Speech Limited Government Power Private Property Rights Religious Tolerance Respect for Women Rule of Law

Family incomes were losing ground to inflation and jobs were being created at the slowest rate since the Great Depression. 1.Strong Economic Growth: Since President Clinton and Vice President Gore took office, economic growth has averaged 4.0 percent per year, compared to average growth of 2.8 percent during the Reagan-Bush years. 2.Most New Jobs Ever Created Under a Single Administration: The economy has created more than 22.5 million jobs in less than eight years—the most jobs ever created under a single administration, and more than were created in the previous 12 years. Under the Clinton-Gore budget, we are on track to pay off the entire publicly held debt on a net basis by 2009. 9.Lower Federal Government Spending: the lowest level since 1966. 10.. Reduced Interest Payments on the Debt: , interest payments on the debt were $125 billion lower than projected. 11.Double Digit Growth in Private Investment in Equipment and Software: 12.With government no longer draining resources out of capital markets, private investment in equipment and software averaged 13.3 percent annual growth since 1993, compared to 4.7 percent during 1981 to 1992. 13.Enacted the 1993 Deficit Reduction Plan without a Single Republican Vote. 14.Negotiated the Balanced Budget Agreement of 1997. 15.Dedicated the Surplus to Save Social Security and Reduce the National Debt. 16.Opening World Markets to American Goods and Providing Leadership on Globalization 17.The Most U.S. Exports Ever. 18.1.4 Million More Jobs due to Exports: 19.Lowest Inflation since the 1960s: 20.To Create Trade Opportunities and Expand the Benefits of Globalization, President Clinton: 21.Won Ratification of the North America Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) in 1993, 22.Won Approval of Permanent Normal Trade Relations with China. 23.Successfully Completed the Uruguay Round. 24.Fought for the First-Ever African and the Caribbean Basin Trade Bills. 25.Promoted Trade Opportunities for High Technology. 26.Secured Historic Debt Relief. 27.Dramatically Expanded U.S. Efforts to Fight Child Labor and Expand Basic Education. 28.Defused International Economic Crises. 29.Rewarding Work and Empowering Communities 30.Higher Incomes at All Levels: 31.Lowest Poverty Rate in 20 Years: 32.Lowest Poverty Rate for Single Mothers on Record: 33.Smallest Welfare Rolls Since 1969: 34.To Help All Americans Benefit from Prosperity, President Clinton:] 35.Ended Welfare as We Knew It. 36.Rewarded Work by Expanding the Earned Income Tax Credit. 37.Created Empowerment Zones. 38.Created Community Development Financial Institutions. 39.Strengthened the Community Reinvestment Act. 40.Encouraged Investment in America’s New Markets 41.Raised the Minimum Wage 42.Helped People with Disabilities Work 43.Investing in Educating and Training the American People 44.More Americans Are Enrolling in College: 45.More High School Students Are Preparing for College: 46.More Americans Are Earning College Degrees: 47.Americans Are Becoming Lifelong Learners: 48.Created the College Tax Credits, the Largest Single Investment in Higher Education since the G.I. Edit my scholarship essay please?!? the question says explain how God is using you to influence the lives of other people. Specify activities and leadership positions in local church. Describe short and long time goals you have set for youself. I am willing to work hard to achieve my short and long terms ,so that some day I may contribute to this society and make a difference in someone’s life. any help will be appriciated.

Online Colleges/Universities in the state of PA? Hi, I'm 15, and a sophomore in high school. I want to go to college online when I graduate, to get a Bachelor's degree in Special Education weather that be for elementary aged(which is what I'm hoping for) or middle school aged children. I myself am considered a Special Ed. student because I have a physical disability. That is one of the reasons why I want to major in Special Ed. I want to go to college online because generally, it's pretty flexible, and overall it would be easier for me to get an education from home for various reasons. I have a 3.8 GPA and some of the scholarships and stuff that I can get, only applies to me if I go to a college in the state of PA. I had my heart set on the University of Phoenix's Online Program, but after reading thoroughly through information about what is availabe to me, I need a new choice. When I graduate, I will contact Education Connection, but for now, I want to look up some colleges online first to see tuition fees, and etc. So, what are some online colleges or programs in PA? Thanks- Isabel
39 years old. In a lot of debt. Low paying retail job. In default on student loan.Want to go back to school? Ideally, not work at all, focus on bettering myself. When i graduate, will get all squared away financially with much greater earning power. I would need room and board as well. Are there any scholarships, programs anything at all, that could make this dream/plan come true. I do not know what else to do. As it is, i work way too much(over 60 hours a week) to even consider going to school, especially since i have a learning disability. I do have 2 years of college in already. Hope someone can help.
