I am wondering what the maximum amount of money a full-time college student can make and still recieve full? I am a full-time college student who claims his parents as dependent. I have worked several jobs and have a total income over $5500 for the calendar year. When beginning my taxes, I noticed once I went over 5000, my Federal Tax Return went from $329 to $185. I take no issue with financial aide for college, and scholarships and such. I take no issue, and am actually thankful that public aide is provided to single moms.
