Mexico is a good ally, partner, neighbor,sometimes. But when you boil the situation down Mexico appears to be a country that is eager to take advantage of the US especially in the region of illegal immigration. The Mexican government repeatedly makes clear their position that illegal immigration is ok because jobs are available and jobs have no borders. Their line of thinking basically is that there is no southern border and that illegals should be treated like any other US citizen even if they only plan to stay for a short while. Long enough to sock up some cash and hit the road back to Mexico. They support illegal immigration in every way. A strange stance considering their own tough and sometimes corrupt enforcement of their own southern border. They are just as obsessed as the US with protected good jobs from illegal immigrants. Their double standard has made the idea of calling them an ally difficult at times. I think opportunist knocking at our door is a better description.Fun Gadgets
