Something About Newcastle

With Newcastle’s nightlife voted the best UK travel attraction, and presently home to largest shopping centre in Europe, you might be pardoned for dismissing of Newcastle as just a cause of amusement for younger generations. On further inspection, it becomes obvious there are many things in Newcastle meeting the eye.

Uniting Gateshead in 2002, the two regions that lie on both sides of the River Tyne on the northeast of England were marketed like NewcastleGateshead. A project tried to promote the area as a hub of innovation, since it has turned into a vivacious cultural capital, known for its numerous attractions.

Though there are many parks to delight, galleries to see, and cathedrals to visit, the city’s packed events calendar gives Newcastle its rare edge. And, together with something occurring almost every month, it is a perfect destination for travelers of different ages to attend.

This high-quality development really is something special. A mix of houses and apartments, it’s perfect for those just starting out looking for that special first home, and those looking to move up the ladder. These homes designed by award winning architects are spacious, bright and comfortable whilst using the latest eco-technology to produce an ultra energy efficient house of tomorrow.

Starting in early February, Chinatown of Newcastle marks the beginning of the Chinese New Year. With festivity of culture, the streets grow filled with a combination of vibrant performances, music, and colors, like Chinese magic shows and dragon dancers.

Following the same month is the country’s largest international carnival of audiovisual arts. Being the host by NewcastleGateshead, alongside Middlesbrough and Sunderland, this biannual occasion was found in 2003 characterizing a diversity of visual arts, films, and music for the public’s entertainment.
